Coaching at Work’s annual Coaching and Mentoring at Work conference is one of the hottest tickets in town, selling out every year. The success of this year’s conference on 6 July in London was very much down to an impressive line-up of speakers, generous sponsors, and highly engaged and curious delegates, including people from New Zealand and Australia.

Hetty Einzig opened the conference with an inspirational keynote, which mapped out VUCA territory; Anthony Kasozi held delegates enthralled as he shared his wisdom and how he goes barefoot to ground himself when he feels lost, and Suzy Green closed the conference with a snappy presentation on positive psychology. Throughout the day, delegates shared tips and learnings, and learnt from others such as Kathryn Jackson who survived the massive 2011 earthquake in Christchurch, New Zealand. And at an awards ceremony after the conference, this year’s winners and highly commended individuals in the Coaching at Work Awards 2016 were announced.

Our winners were:

Sally Bonneywell (Internal Coaching Champion); Erik de Haan and Liz Dimmock (joint winners- External Coaching Champion); Sam Humphrey and Karen Dean (Best Article); Robin Shohet (Contributions to Coaching Supervision); David Megginson (Lifetime Achievement Award for Contributions to Coaching and Mentoring), and Gill Smith (Lifetime Achievement Award for Contributions to Coaching.)

Those highly commended were:
