What a pleasure to offer this review on David Clutterbuck’s latest offering to celebrate his 75th book in his 75th year. Yet again David succeeds with innovative expertise to create a text combining years of offering insightful thought leadership to the development of coaching, mentoring and leadership.
The inclusion of ‘provocative ideas’ in the sub-title explains well David’s ability to challenge what is, disrupt the status quo and suggest new approaches that enhance existing practices.
One of David’s many talents is his accessible and engaging writing style which entices the reader into a new place of wisdom illustrated with scenarios that enliven and enrich the text. The references to ‘eclectic’ in the opening paragraphs illustrate his style of thinking and sets
the tone.
This style also offers an invitation and freedom to the reader to find a pathway that resonates for them.
David’s quest is to “have fun helping other people (and himself) become wiser”. This is a beautifully crafted and comprehensive text that fulfils that ambition and is worthy of celebrating 75 years.
