STEREOTYPES IMPACT GEN Z EMPLOYERS AND SEEKERS

There is a disconnect between employers and potential Generation Z employees, with both sides believing in unhelpful stereotypes about each other, finds a report by career platform iHire.

Some 34% of Gen Z respondents believe negative stereotypes will adversely impact their job searches and career advancement in the coming year. Meanwhile employers expressed concerns with this generation’s entitled mentality, lack of commitment and poor work ethic, finds the report, based on a survey of 1,093 Gen Zers and 252 employers in the US.
