Coaching for Wellbeing: An Evidence-Based Guide for Practitioners

This book is a well-researched, practical guide for would-be wellbeing practitioners and experienced coaches working in the wellbeing space.
Coaching For Wellbeing explores how the different theories and concepts can be used in different contexts, such as organisational wellbeing, communities and for each of us. The evidence-based approaches provide solid foundations to develop a deeper understanding, as well as reflection for professional practice.
Ana brings a wealth of practical tools, models and case studies to life throughout the book. Wellbeing can be complex: it touches all aspects of our lives and I feel Ana really shares her depth of expertise in the art of ‘getting behind’ the client’s vision and purpose for wellbeing.
Later chapters focus on long-lasting change, bringing awareness to the stages and how the processes of change relate.
The book concludes with the introduction of the BeWell model for coaching, Be, Relate and Act, explored as a wellbeing framework, as well as a group coaching model that shares evidence and practicalities for consideration.
This book is a much-needed resource. I highly recommend it.
