Opinion is very divided on whether group mentoring is the same as action learning. Indeed, there is, so far, almost no literature on group mentoring. So this column is written slightly tongue in cheek. Some of my academic colleagues do not agree that group mentoring exists. However, I have used it with many clients and in many guises over the past few years.
