A lack of confidence still hinders women’s progress and access to equal pay at work, finds research.
Three-quarters of female professionals (75%) have never negotiated a pay rise, and 54% of women are unsatisfied with pay, feeling it’s not a fair reflection of what they do, finds a report from professional recruitment firm, Robert Walters. Men on average receive a bigger increase following negotiation, says the report.
