US GEN Z CHOOSING FREELANCE CAREERS OVER 9 TO 5

The youngest and fastest-growing generation of workers seems to be shifting away from traditional, 9 to 5 working for a single employer to more flexible, autonomous and entrepreneurial arrangements, suggests research.

More than half of US Gen Z workers are freelancing, with 53% of that group doing so full time, according to another survey by Upwork Research Institute.
