Petra Walker is a vibrant and engaging Chartered Coaching Psychologist and Executive Coach, based in the UK. She is accredited as a Senior Practitioner by the EMCC and as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) by the International Coach Federation. Being multi-passionate and a strong believer in lifelong learning, Petra originally studied Zoology at Oxford University, but then went on to gain a MSc in Psychology, and a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology with distinction. In addition to coaching on Leadership courses with INSEAD, a leading Business School, she is also a Course Leader, Programme Coordinator and coach supervisor at the Institute of Positive Psychology Coaching, an advanced coach training organisation.

My approach is very person centred. I strongly believe in coaching the person, not the problem and use evidence based psychological tools and models to inform my coaching practice, keeping a positive psychology perspective on everything I do. This means that while my client may be focused on the task, I step back , allowing my client to gain the space and perspective to see the bigger picture. I am flexible in my approach, adapting and responding to the client's needs overall and at any specific moment. My coaching style has been described as calm, yet challenging.
